The fifth Congleton Pride was on Saturday 20th July, exactly 5 years after our first event!

At our biggest event ever – and with probably the best weather we’ve had in the whole history of Congleton Pride – we ran two outdoor stages with live music, drag and entertainment for people of all ages. A variety of stalls and activities, food and drink, throughout the day. Our Pride Parade on the high street has become a regular feature of the event and gets bigger (and louder!) every time…

In the Town Hall we displayed a range of photography and art telling the stories of the LGBTQIA+ community, curated by Congleton Museum. There were also fashion exhibits, plus fashion shows featuring amazing pre-loved occasion wear. We provided a Safe / Quiet Space – anyone could come into this judgement-free zone, looked after by volunteers, to relax and recharge.

Finally, the official Congleton Pride After Party at Radley & Co. rounded off the whole event for this year!
