Who we are

We are the organisers of the Congleton Pride event and owners of the website www.congletonpride.co.uk.

What personal data we collect and why

Filling in the form on our contact page, and commenting on a blog post, are the only occasions when this site will ask you to provide a name and an email address. For you to be able to submit the form in question, those two pieces of data are mandatory; any other information you may choose to supply to us in the process is up to you.

Once the contact form is submitted, all the details entered will be emailed to us – and not stored on the web server that hosts this site. When a comment is made on a blog article, all the information supplied by the commenter, and the IP address by which they are connected to the internet, is stored in this site’s database and will continue to be so unless the comment is deleted by us. Once submitted, a comment must be approved by us before it will appear publicly on the site. It is not possible for a visitor to delete their own comments, however you may ask us to delete a comment posted under your email address, or to send you the complete set of data associated with it. You can also request that we erase all personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure usage of this website. The data collected is not personally identifiable; see Google’s own policy for more about how this works. The process uses cookies.
