From its origins in 1795 managing local wastelands to today’s grant-making activities, Congleton Inclosure Trust supports projects benefiting Congleton and the surrounding areas. Focusing on poverty relief, health, recreation, education, and community support, it’s been improving lives in our community for over 225 years.
The Margaret Williamson Memorial Fund keeps alive the memory of Margaret Williamson, Congleton’s “First Lady” who passed away in 2015. Margaret was a driving force and inspiration for improving Congleton, and the Fund aims to keep that spirit going by supporting initiatives that enhance our community’s cultural environment.
