In addition to our main Congleton Pride event every summer, we’re involved in a range of projects around the year for the LGBTQIA+ community and our friends, family and allies. Keep an eye on this page and our Facebook group to see any announcements!
The Listening Project

Second Friday of every month (14 November), from 7pm, Trinity Methodist Church, Wagg Street, Congleton
The Listening Project is a series of monthly talks centred on LGBTQIA+ voices, stories, and issues.
Each session features a guest speaker sharing lived experience or exploring topics that matter deeply to the LGBTQIA+ community including personal journeys, rights and recognition, healthcare, identity, and more. This time Body Positive from Crewe will talk about the long history of the LGBTQIA+ community in Cheshire.
Caffeine Connections

Last Wednesday of every month (26 November), 3 to 5pm, Trinity Methodist Church, Wagg Street, Congleton
Caffeine Connections is relocating to join our friends at Trinity Methodist Church. We’ll be in their cafe space, in the building to the right of the church itself. Connect with friends old and new in the LGBTQIA+ community, including members and friends of Congleton Pride. Enjoy free tea, coffee and cakes or cookies! Meet like-minded people and learn about Congleton Pride’s plans and latest exciting news – and opportunities to volunteer.
