Congleton Pride works in partnership with a great many organisations across the town and beyond to achieve our vision of a Congleton that is truly inclusive, welcoming and safe.
We work with Congleton Town Council, Congleton Community Projects and Cheshire East Council in order to close the roads and prepare the town centre for a safe and enjoyable Pride festival each year. We invite sponsorship from local businesses, who generously support us and participate in our Pride main event and other events throughout the year. We’d especially like to thank our new sponsors in 2023. In addition we have worked with shops and entertainment venues across Congleton, especially Bluey’s Bar in the Town Hall which runs the informal meet-up Caffeine Connections on the last Wednesday afternoon every month.
Our goal to enhance life in Congleton for LGBTQIA+ people has led to collaborations with local churches and Cheshire Police, who have worked very constructively with us and attend the Congleton Pride event.
