With just 2 weeks to go before our own event, some of us went over to Macclesfield to take part in the one there – now in its second year. Much fun was had soaking up the atmosphere… and the rain! But by the time the parade started the weather was drying up nicely and everything went smoothly.
Some of us walked in the parade, while a certain hardy soul from our team volunteered behind the scenes helping them to keep everything going to plan.
We were so glad to see it being done so well… and all the public who had come to watch. Looking forward to more Pride events like this one, although maybe with more sun from now on – the summer’s not over yet!
