Congleton Pride is looking for volunteers for our 2025 event, to be held on Saturday 19th July 2025.
We need help with various roles on the day, including but not limited to: setting up, distributing the Pride Guide, litter picking, assisting with road closures, and much more. Role #1 – Manning of the Road Closures
Job Description:
Directing Traffic away from road closed areas, Ensuring pedestrian safety for the
attendees of the event. Providing assistance for any event attendees. Logging any
incidents. Both Canal Street, and Market Street will require x2 volunteers per shift.

Role #2 – Congleton Pride Comms Role
Job Description:
Distribution of the Pride Guide – Walking through the town centre and offering a leaflet for any attendees that wish to have one. Helping for the sales of Raffle Tickets – to help raise funds for Congleton Pride. Litter Pick. Assisting with the close down of the event* & Logging any incidents.
*Assisting with the closedown will only be for those on the 4pm-6pm shift. We require 2 volunteers per shift.

Full Training will be provided, and you will be working with experienced volunteers in certain roles as well as a dedicated volunteer co-ordinator. Hi-viz vest and lanyard will be supplied as well as a meal voucher worth £10 for every volunteer.

I am in Disabled and of a tullHousebound ex agency Chef. I am wheelchair user and I have a very nice sense of humour. I don’t Smoke unless I am fire 🔥 don’t drink unless I am Drowning and don’t scream like a baby unless I am thown tall building . I don’t drive anymore or ride motorcycles anymore. I have no living Family nor Relatives nor friends left anymore. I am also divo. I would love to help you out in any way I can. But, I would need help getting there and back again.
