Past performers – 2022 – Congleton Pride

Here’s a rundown of all that happened on stage at our third Congleton Pride in 2022.

Children’s show

High Street, Congleton town centre

10:15 – 10:30 am

Sam Wilson

Sam cannot wait to join us at Congleton Pride again this year so make sure to get all your young ones going to the event for her super fun children’s disco! Come down to dance and party. Sam will also be showing us her incredible singing ability later on during the day.

10:30 – 11:00 am

Nick Barnes

Nick is a family favourite in Congleton when it comes to his amazing shows! Gather your children around the stage to see the wonders that this magician can conjure up… will you see the white rabbit come out of a hat!?

After the children’s show there was a break, with speeches from the Mayor of Congleton and the Rev. Murray George of Congleton United Reformed Church.

Main show

11:30 – 12:30 pm

Andy Hofton

The X Factor’s Andy Hofton is back for another year and we cannot wait to see him perform again! Close friend to our Pride since performing at our 2019 and 2021 events, as well as our St Patrick’s Day event. He is sure to get you on your feet, singing and dancing with his amazing voice and dazzling personality! His passion for performance shines bright and puts everyone is a fantastic mood!

12:30 – 1:00 pm

Chelsea Jade

Chelsea Jade is our next performer, with over 13 years’ experience of performance in theatre and stage including lead parts in many shows. She’s going to be wowing us with her Ellie Goulding tribute act – she’ll leave you ‘Starry Eyed’.

1:00 – 1:15 pm

GemiTy

The new queen on the scene, and this is her first main stage debut, with her insane dancing ability, GemiTy – the lip syncing assassin is sure to leave you jaw dropped!! *Cue Death Drop*

1:15 – 1:30 pm

MystiKay

MystiKay is the next performer on our main stage. Kay is a member of our neighbouring pride group, Macc Pride. MystiKay will have you singing and dancing to camp classics during our daytime event.

1:30 – 1:45 pm

Rowen Kimpton

Please welcome our next performer, Rowen Kimpton. Coming to us from Bristol, this welsh acrobat, & gymnast performer, is so excited to perform for us on the main stage at Congleton Pride. Rowen will also be performing his Boylesque routine at our 18+ evening event.

1:45 – 2:00 pm

The Gay Gordons

The Gay Gordons is a group of Scottish Country Dance enthusiasts that are based in Greater Manchester. Having attend our pride events in 2019 & 2021, they’re back this time to perform on our main stage. The only rule is audience participation is a MUST!!

2:00 – 2:45 pm

Jed Stone

Comedy / cabaret

2:45 – 3:00 pm

Sam Wilson

Sam returns to our stage – this time with her amazing singing skills!

3:00 – 3:15 pm

Fonda D

Fonda makes her Congleton Pride main event debut. The all singing, all dancing, all lip-syncing self proclaimed ‘Plus size Dancing Princess of Congleton… that’s as cheap as Vicky Pollard’, is ready to wow us with her all singing, all dancing, high energy performances.

3:15 – 3:45 pm

Heather Marie

Heather Marie is double the ‘Trouble’ (see what I did there), as she’s not only a P!nk tribute act but is also a Cher tribute act. Catch her in her first Congleton Pride outing as P!nk…

3:45 – 4:30 pm

Stella Black

She’s Back… Stella our close personal friend is back at Pride with sass, class and whole lot of high energy performances under her sparkly dress. She cannot wait to dazzle us on stage! Stella said she can’t wait to perform for Congleton Pride again, and she certainly isn’t one to be missed!
